FWD 4.0

To help companies to steer towards introducing Industry 4.0 Technologies into their business and move to Digital Transformation.

Companies are welcome to apply to participate in FWD 4.0. Session are run on a weekly basis.

Companies will also undergo a Readiness Assessment Exercise, to test the Industry 4.0 readiness based on a Pitching Style Activity.

Upon ‘Graduating’ companies can choose to apply for the FWD 4.0 Funding (a total fund of RM250 million) Subject to Terms & Conditions

FWD 4.0 is segregated to ‘FWD 4.0 Start Up’ ; ‘FWD 4.0 Growth’ ; and ‘FWD 4.0 Maturity’

OBJECTIVES

	To help/assist Malaysian Companies to Digitally Transform their business leveraging on Industry 4.0 Technologies
	To steer Malaysian Companies, notably, the SMEs, towards achieving greater Progress, Productivity and ultimately, Profitability, growing their respective business within relevant Industry verticals.
	To stimulate strategic thinking and strategic planning amongst Malaysian companies, so that the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Digital Transformation would be adapted by Companies through a sustainable and structured incubation programme.
	To compliment and support the Malaysian Governments goals of moving towards a developed nation status, high income nation and assist companies and Industries to leverage on the power and potential of Industry 4.0 technologies.
	To provide funding options and a solid funding platform from which Malaysian Companies can tap on(Based on eligibility) to finance capital expenditure(Capex) on Industry 4.0. An initial fund size of RM250 million is allocated under the FWD 4.0 Initiative

WHO CAN APPLY AND PARTICIPATE IN

Any Company established and Incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act

Directors and Shareholders not facing any bankruptcy

Operating in any Industry sector in Peninsular or East Malaysia

Minimum paid up capital of RM50,000

Majority shareholding owned by Malaysians(more than 50%)

In operation for at least three (3) years with audited financial report(for application of FWD 4.0 Fund) – At least two(2) years must be profitable

Not under any winding up order

Any company interested and passionate on Industry 4.0 technologies and Digital Transformation investments to grow their businesses for greater progress, productivity and profitability
